ITINERARY 3: Battambang – Pailin – Siem Reap – Phnom Penh – Sihanouk Ville

Day 1: Bangkok – Battambang (by road)
Upon arrival at the Cambodian/Thai border will be met and greeted by a tour guide and a bus then transfer to Battambang. Overnight in Battambang.

Day 2: Battambang
After breakfast begin the exploration of Battambang town include the visit to Phnom Banon (the hill of Banon) where one can see an ancient temple built on the hill dated back to the 12th century. After visiting the Banon Hill continue to the man-made lake called Kam Peng Puo that was dug in the Pol Pot’s regime. Enjoy the picnic lunch and relax or enjoy swimming in the lake. Late afternoon return to Battambang. Overnight in Battambang.

Day 3: Battambang – Pailin (day trip)
Full day excursion to Pailin. Pailin was the largest former Khmer rough srtonghold during the period of the civil war (1979-1997). Pailin is known as the richest place for precious stones such as rubies, spphires and diamond. People who live in this area in the present day are formerly Khmer rough civilian and soldiers. Afternoon return back to Battambang. Overnight in Battambang.

Day 4: Battambang – Siem Reap (by boat)
After breakfast, journey by boat from Battambang to Siem Reap. Along the route one can find the different way of life where farmers are farming their crops. Arrive Siem Reap’s pier at noon time, meet and transfer to hotel for check in. Rest of the day is free at lieusre. Overnight in Siem Reap

Day 5: Siem Reap – Angkor Wat
Morning visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the Bayon, the Baphoun, the Phimeanakas, Elephant and Lepper king terraces. Afternoon its time to marvel around the wonderous Ankgor Wat temple. It was built in the 12th century as a Hindu temple. Later it was converted to be a Bhuddhist monastery. In the late afternoon climb the Bakeng hill to watch a spectacular sunset. Overnight in Siem Reap

Day 6: Siem Reap
Morning visit Prasat Kravan, Banteay Kdei, the Srah Srang, and then TA PRUHM with its famous attraction lies upon the giant trees growing on the towers and the walls, puts its roots down like an octopus arms. TA PRUHM is one of the most romantic temple that no-one ever miss the visit. In the afternoon we visit Preah Khan, Neak Poan, Ta Som and end the visit at East Mebon. Overnight in Siem Reap.

 

Day 7: Siem Reap – Phnom Penh
After breakfast, transfer to the Siem Reap pier for a journey by the ferry to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival in Phnom Penh will be met and greeted by the local regional guide and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free at liesure. Overnight in Phnom Penh

Day 8: Phnom Penh
Phnom Penh the Capital of Cambodia. The visit include the Royal Palace, the National Museum, the Wat Phnom, The Genocidal Crime Museum, the Independence Monument built by the French as a memorial of giving full independent to Cambodia in 1954. Overnight in Phnom Penh

Day 9: Phnom Penh – Sihanouk Ville
After breakfast, transfer with private transportation to Sihanouk Ville. Arrival at Sihanouk Ville direct straight to hotel. Rest of the day is free at liesure and enjoy the swim at the beautiful beach of Sihanouk Ville. Overnight in Sihanouk Ville.

Day 10 Sihanouk Ville
City tour of Sihanouk Ville include Wat Le, Wat Kro, and the fishing villages. Afternoon Enjoy the boat excuersion to Koh Pos and Koh Tha. Overnight in Sihanouk Ville.

Day 11: Sihanouk Ville
Today is free at liesure. Overnight in Sihanouk Ville

Day 12: Sihanouk Ville - Phnom Penh - Departure
After breakfast, transfer from Sihanouk Ville to Phnom Penh airport for departure flight at noon time.
